I have often found myself standing before the mirror criticising my appearance, and at 5'4 ,47kilos,(35,26,33) I realise I have nothing to complain about. However like everyone males included (as the majority of chics seem to think that guys don't worry about their appearance)I often wish for something to be different. Whilst we can criticise society's ideals and stereotypes towards beauty, until we act upon our beliefs and seek support from the others around us we will never achieve and succeed in changing society's definite views of beauty, we look to hollywood to lead us, scared to step out and away from the crowd to be an individual, people who are "fat" and do not appreciate their appearance only think this way because they have been brainwashed by society, in many ways that they never could of imagined. So I'm writing this to hope to make someone realise regardless of their physical appearance that you are a beautiful person, everyone is beautiful and everyone is loved by someone, so believe in yourself and think with every degrading you comment you recieve (regardless of what it may be) that you are a strong, beautiful person who unlike the majority of society can see the beauty in people for who they are rather than base it on appearance, for me I find joy not in peoples appearance but who they are and how they act, when people smile and are naturally happy it spreads, happiness and laughter are infectious if we can spread these views on beauty ,happiness is sure to follow and we will have a much more open and compassionate society to live within, so be yourself, where what you want and be happy with who you are because unless you are willing to put yourself through the degrading process of unrequired plastic surgery (and help enforce societys twisted concepts of beauty) its not something you can drastically change, well that is my love for everyone,and I intend to follow my own advice
