Where Have All the Rockstars Gone?

Quite a few years ago, a band came over to America called The Beatles. In my oppinion, they are true rockstars. When you think about it, most of the world did revolve around them for many years.
Another rockstar is Sir Mick Jagger. He and The Rolling Stones changed the face of rock and roll in so many ways, they added whole new aspects to it.
And the last rockstars that i will mention (of course there a more) are The Who. Any band that could create a rock opera and perform the whole thing on a stage night after night should be considered rockstars.
Now, think about this. 2 out of 4 of The Beatles are dead. 2 out of 4 of the people in The Who are dead. And Mick, he's not getting any younger. What will happen when these rockstars all die? Who will step into their empty places? What will become of rock?
I'm sure that many kids that live in this day and age have no idea who the people I talk about in this article are. That is why I am worried! If we forget our history, our roots, then how can we break more rock and roll barriers? We won't be able to, because we will have no examples of how to do it. "Rock and Roll will never die," I just pray that this is true.
