| crawling into the rabbit hole. entering my own wonderland. a world full of contradictions and misconseptions. the place everyone turns to. thursdays are opposite days. inside my wonderland. turning upside down. spiraling up. everyones crying. in black and white. but their insides are colorful. and i'll never know how to escape my wonderland. a place where dreams come true, and everyday is a holiday. you can sleep all day and still wake up in time to catch the bus. off to work. ariving early. you get a raise. premotied again. passing by the bosses office and a sign welcomes you to wonderland. where politicians are honest, and everything's right. but everyonhe is crying. but everyone is crying. all in black and white. everything is so perfect. but no one is happy. welcome to wonderland, where flowers always blood, and the grass is never greener on the other side. everyon eis content and fullfilled. but everyon eis crying. music plays all day and there's always someone there to lean on. wonderland. where you can wear stripes and plaids and still be matching. a place so sunny that even the biggest tree cannot provide shade. arriving home. a letter in the mail. you've won the lottery. 5 million dollars. but everyone's still crying. the stamp on the letter reads "welcome to wonderland" a place where the sharpest knive cannot dammage anything except the bread you consume. the place where your puppy will never run away, and your 25 cent goldfish will live forever. and you can drive into eternity and never have to worry about running out of gas. wonderland, a place so genuine and lovely, but everyone is crying. they frown upon one another. love spreads like wildfire. no one is rejected in wonderland. my wonderland. where you can wear a swimming suit in december and never get cold. a place where everyone can be trusted. but no one trusts. everyone is crying. shunned out by the rest of humanity. they cry so much. going out with your friends you read the menu. and it says "welcome to wonderland" deep within the rabbit hole a place where everyday is a holiday. and its never dark. the place where you never need to do your taxes and santa really does exist. walking into wal*mart looking for yourself. picking up an item the letters on the tag spell out "w-o-n-d-e-r-l-a-n-d" and then it hits you. welcome to wonderland. where everythign is free. where the sun always shines, and everyday is a holiday. wonderland. but everone is crying. and hatred surrounds you. welcome to wonderland. my wonderland. the only place where you can be crying on the outside, and smiling on the inside. |
