First off, I'm not miss all for abortion either but I believe that under certain circumstances, abortion is a legiable option.
I don't believe that you can just go and abort a baby just because you don't want it, thats wrong! Those people are murderers and I would probably kick them if I met them.
You say that if people are old enough to be having sex then they are old enough to take responsability for having a baby, this is not necassarily true. If you have been going out with your "significant other" for a long time and you want to make love to them, its not just sex, its and act of love, and if they are smart they use protection, but sometimes shit happens and you can't control it. These people may not be ready to have a baby, ex, they're not old enough. What are they suppossed to do? they took precautions, but things didn't go according to plan.
Second, I don't believe that you can have an abortion after 3 months, this I would consider murder. I am in a child development class in school and I learned that it can't be considered murder until the baby has a heart beat and the baby or fetus doesn't have a heart beat until its 3 months into development. Thats why you have to do a surgical abortion after 3 months.
And what about ECP's?? are they murder? just because the embryo would only be 2 or 3 days old, its still fertilized and started growing...are they wrong too?
If you are too young and you're still in school, you have no support and you wouldn't be able to raise it financially or personally, then what are you to do?
And what if someone was raped? they were not asking to be impregnanted, and they certainly didn't deserve it. That baby would be a constant reminder of the pain that person went through. What do you do then?
You can't just say abortion is wrong. You have to look at every different perspective before you can judge it, thats why I say, under certain circumstances it's wrong and under others, it's a ligable option.
You'll never know how it really feels until you go through it yourself or deal with it from someone very close to you... I have done both... I took an ECP and a very close friend of mine and his girlfriend, only 14, thought she was pregnant and we were looking at her options and we discussed the option of abortion, although she turned out not to be pregnant.
