In less than 24 hours, America is going to wage war on one the regimes in the Middle East-Iraq.

The decision to go to war has sparked a huge debate in countries all around the world. With three permernant members in the security council vetoing the war, America seemed to be at a dead end until it announced that regardless of the decision of the members of the security council, it would go to war with Iraq. In other words, it means that war is inevitable. However, is war the answer to all the problems that has been shrouding both the US government and the Middle East?

I believe that the war should be fought but let it be a fast one, with as little blood shed as possible. Then again, that is just a thought. Blood will be shed and shed until US and its allies are satisfied. How much blood shed will then be justifiable? Saddam Hussien will continue with his insane actions till he conquers the world. I believe that the US is actually helping the world in getting rid of the devil incarnate to make the world a better place.

Peace activists argue that the purpose of this war is to exchange blood for oil. It is more thant that. Definitely. After the 911 incident, the Bush administration has been out of a hunt for terrorists all around the world.

My sympthaties go out to the US soldiers. After fighting the war, there is a possibility that they will go home, not honoured as heroes but maybe persecuted. Persecuted for fighting a war that many people in their home country opposes.

Stock prices has soared after the Bush announced that war would take place. But what of during the war and after? Are stock prices going to fall? Will the market crash? What about the people whose lives changed dramatically because of the war?

War is necessary but pray that it ends soon.
