| Hello everyone who has opened this file. I find the subject of smoking a pretty pointless topic! It is illegal here in the UK for people to smoke under the age of sixteen! However it still goes on! It is illegal to drink in a licensed bar under the age of eighteen but it still continues! You are legally bound (in the UK) to go to school up to the age of sixteen, but how many times have you bunked off! A lot of Bars and restaurants are becoming smoke free zones! Which is excellent it allows people to enjoy their drink or meal without breathing others smoke. The government here are even considering making Bars and restaurants completely smoke free. Now that I object to, to be beaten down by a majority! To loose what we fought for…………. FREE WILL. You are entitled to your opinion however telling people what they already know won’t help. People who smoke know the risks and choose to do it anyway! I have many friends who smoke, and although I know it is bad for them it is NOT MY PLACE TO PREACH!! We all have our faults and their good attributes are why they are my friends. It’s not my personal choice of lifestyle but if it is theirs then leave them to it. I find it quite distressing when I hear self-righteous people spouting rubbish that they don’t understand! Thanks for reading-X- |
