Your article made me so mad, I had to calm myself down before I could respond! One of my friends self harms. IT IS SELFISHNESS PURE AND SIMPLE! You made out you did this for the greater good well the hurt your friends were in was either self inflicted or caused by you!
You think your actions helped them with their pain they were probably just devastated at your SERIOUSLY mixed up morals. You try to giv justification to what you did. Well there is none.
I am overweight I have lost a stone in the past year, and have merely one more stone to go before I am of average weight for my height and build! Something that I chose to make a stand against! I wont allow myself to wallow in my own self pity as many of you 'cutters'seem to do. You want to stop the pain sort out the problem! You people are lucky to have friends! I am slowly losing faith in mine!
one day I will abandon them, you may think that is cruel but I have my own problems and I am not willing to waste my life on some one who does not wish to be helped!
I admire your strength for stopping, and I am very very happy for you! however this kind of stuff breaks up families friendships and other relationships!
There is no pride, glamour, honour or goodness in what you do, and you should not be making out there is so! your message implied to me 'if your worried about your friends self harm it helps!'
When in actual fact talking to them, consoling them at their lowest point, is what a good friend would do! Thanks for reading-X-
