| School Violonce is a very big topic in the world today. Last year the where over a dozen schools that have had school shootings. Have you heard about the little boy in Michagan that brought a gun to school and shot one of his classmates. Some kids makes bomb threats so they can get out of school. Sometimes when kids do this it makes other kids very scared. On May 9, 2000 a bunch of kids from another county from where I live have made threating phone calls saying at 3:00 today that our school was getting shot at. Students at my school where afraid to leave the class after the last bell rang today. Thankfully nothing happen. The worse school shooting was at Littleton Colorado the Colombine Shooting. If you don't like what is going on in your school you should speak up about it. You wouldn't want any of your friends to die over somebody getting mad or somewhat. Life is short. We shouldn't take it for granted. The world is not safe for people to live in. The society today is more dangerous than a disease or cancer. Last year someone threw firecrackers outside where everybody was at and it sounded like a gun going off. People where running and ducking because they really thought a gun was going off. I actually saw some people crying because it scared them so bad. Is this what you want to scare people or take their life away. They say the safest place is a school. Not anymore. Then they say say the other safest place is a church. Nope! Nowhere you go is safe anymore. |
