It's an issue being debated in our Supreme court, in our home states, and in our home towns. Should thesse young phelons betreated as adults when it comes to their day of reckoning?
These are children lashing out. Becoming your arsonists, murderers, and conspirasists. Are they only children, or do they really no what the consequences of their actions are? Many people beleive thay don't. These young criminals are getting shockingly low punishments for phelonies that would put you away for life if they were adults. As a young girl myself, I understand the consequencesw of my actions. Of course, I am 14 years old. Elementary school children are shooting people in my home state of Ohio. Every day you see on the Cleveland and Columbus news about children who have shot or stabbed other children to death. I beleive these children should be treated as adults, and their parents the same. I know mom and dad can't take all the blame for Jr. taking a weapon to school, but they are partially responsible. Adults are constantly complaing about how unruly our generation is. The fact isthat if the adults would quit shutting their eyes to teenage problems, and step in and help, a lot less children would die. If the adults would only punish these young criminals as adults, I beleive this would show those children who don't understand the consequences of these crimes what will happen.
