I rather slit my writs and watch my life’s blood slowly drain from my body until I am a cold, blue-lipped corpse, then work in fast food, or any job that deals with the public.. This is of course is why I am a poor, 19 year old who is still living at home. But putting side my patheticness, fast food is run by the lowest of the low. Within hours of working I’d hyperventilate and perhaps take out a few people before I turn the gun on myself. Instead I will remain a money-sucking moocher until the time my father kicks my ass out the door and changes the locks (or until I find someone stupid enough to give me an internship)
Now, I must pick on Lovely_Rita, because I can.
(1) How can you claim the evils of McD’s is cutting down our precious rain forested for the meat, and then turn around and claim what they serve you isn’t beef.
(2) Of COURSE they pay shit wages, it’s shit work. You cannot take a young, unskilled teenage with no skills, no life, no responsibility, and expected to be paid more then Minimum wage. In fact, obviously the state thinks it’s enough; else min. wage would be raised.
(3) “Would you life fries with that” is part of the job, they have to ask, deal with it.
