I feel like everyone on here is talking about how they feel awkward in social situations and they think what they say is dumb, but I know that if you talk like you type then you are all really awesome. I think that maybe because of what I've had to go through and it sounds like what a lot of you have had to go through that we've had to mature a lot faster.

If there is a cure or atleast treatment that really works then I think that we will all excel like crazy and just launch into life.

Anyway, I felt like everybody could use a pick me up so just know that I think you're cool and don't be so judgemental of yourself(haha look who's talkin).

sometimes i feel like i am cool. even though i have done something really horrible like having affair or wasting too much money and time on something that is not worth . then only later i will realise how much damage i have caused to myself and others. i hate myself for being impulsive and a real late rationalizer. so to be fair to yourself and others, do be judgemental to yourself from time to time so that u don do crazy things and feel cool about it.

You are right, Caticia, we do judge ourselves too harshly. And I think social anxiety sufferers tend to be very thoughtful and even well-spoken, if only we could get ourselves to speak more. We really do have a lot to say! But we should focus more on our strengths and realize that our self-criticisms are overblown. We are unfair to ourselves!
