| But the only problem is, people ask me if i do cut myself, and i say no, and we'll make a joke out of it, and i've said that i dont to almost everyone, so i cant just tell them i actually do cut myself. | |

| ok. Know this might sound dumb, but have you tried councelling. I know it's hard to properly express yourself here and sometimes what you want and need is face to face and a hug to tell you everything will be ok. but these feelings wont go away on there own as we know. Talking through things is the best way to cope only you know who you can properly trust. sorry.xxx | |

| i cut also. when i first started about a year ago i told, three friends. in the next three months eleven people knew. ive learned something - don't trust anyone, at least not with your darkest secrets. and yes you can tell people that youve already told you dont cut you cut. i did. im warning you though, if they dont cut, they wont understand. im not saying dont tell anyone but just not alot of people because its really stressful to have to hide you cuts from people who check you arms and legs everyday. its not going to help you stop if people are yelling at you whenever you do it. | |

For every person, there is someone who will listen to every word you say, understand your every thought and emotion. This i know is true, i've met the person who listens to me, and i've been talking to her all week :) Thats kinda irrelevant right now, but i know theres someone to trust! |

| well now you know some ppl on this thread!...I wouldnt trust ppl who dont cut...thats just me though...I had a really bad experience and lost all my friends...I got over it though and am making new ones...But about getting help...Tell your mom you have the flu...then go to your primary care dr and tell him/her about the cutting...he CANT tell anyone and he might suggest a good therapist like mine did...tell your parents you have anxiety...its easier to accept than cutting then further on in your treatment you will hopefully find a way to tell your fam about the cutting bc it seems to get worse before it gets better...hope everything works out for you...getting help is the first step and its a hard one. | |
