I didn't cut, it's been about a month since I last cut, really hard but iv gone this far now, but I still get urges.
I wright songs when I wanna cut and it stops me.
Things um greatfull for:
being alive (sometimes)
my best friend who helps me through so much
this forum (n u guys)
being able to take my mind off things with music (guitar)
having food and water
living in a rich country
the nhs
being able to think for myself
(wierd one) caring deeply, and being able to talk to someone even if it's me.

How do you take your mind off things? Xxx

Yeah, it dose. Musics my escape too.
The thing is (got nowt to do with this but the hell with it, lol)
I have cystic fibrosis and probs will only like to be in my late 30s
that really gets to me, I feel like by 25 I may have to practicly live in hospital and I. Feel I'll have to find love now so that in 10 years time someone may love me enough to stay with me if the worst should happen. Hmmmm one of my resons I cut and music didn't really dround that out for me, reciting thoughts of it :/

I'm srry in advance if this sounds offensive (which isn't what i want), i'm just not very good with words lol.

It you only live to your late 30's, don't cut about it, don't feel down about it, do the opposite, live each day in full, as happy as you can! If your friends or lover actually care about you when you must be in hospital a lot, they'll stay by your side wouldn't they? So don't worry now about it, just be happy :)

music is my escape too. I love to write and play guitar. or put my music on to escape too. It's great if you can focus on that. Also i'm begiing to think of positive things and steps i'm taking in my life. Makes me more happy.

"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people, who treat you right, forget about the oneswho don't and believe that eveything happens for a reason. If you get a chance take it.If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.!!! I love you all thanks for helping me.xxxx

I listen to music when I'm tense or when I want to change something about myself. Reading books is also good but rather than giving me a solution it provides an escape I guess.
