My true emotions are fading As I sit here in the dark Love and peace fill me No words to distract me As the music flows around All my worries seem to die If only for a while. Floored in the bathroom No will to move Enjoying all feeling I find beauty for what feels like the first time If only in a rug. I turn on the light. Caught off guard I look in the mirror A picture for later to remind me. The ebbing is coming Only a matter of time The lights go back out, I need to be alone. |
