Lets do a quick check list first: HPD (*) Needs to be the center of attention (*) Dresses or acts provocatively () Rapidly-shifting and shallow emotions () Exaggerates friendships (*) Overly-dramatic, occassionally theatrical speech (*) easily influenced; highly suggestible Also I love, love, LOVE to manipulate people. It might be my favorite hobby. Its so easy to prey on the weak, like how can I resist?! Narcissistic (*)Requires excessive praise and admiration (*)Takes advantage of others (*) Grandiose sense of self-importance (*) Lack of empathy () Lying, to self and others () Obsessed with fantasies of fame, power, or beauty I have like two morals: don't litter and be honest. My psych teacher kind of diagnosed me with HPD. I find it difficult to relate to peoples problems and I always have to embellish my level of caring. I always have to modify what I want to say because my first thought is always something dickish and uncaring. When I started to develop my breasts in 8th grade I could barely keep my shirt on. I still find any excuse to remove my clothes. I use my body to get what I want and I always think I should get what I want. I'm above other people and I make sure that they know their place. What do you guys think? I'm thinking about getting a professional opinion. Is that necessary? |

| I think if you got a body actually worth showing off then why not? If you dont then an uglier b---- will, with a shallower, uninteresting personality. | |

Well.... my Psych teacher kind of diagnosed me as well. xD Let's compare notes, shall we? I have all your listed HPD symptoms, including the shifting emotions, but not the exagerrating friendships. (I agree, manipulation is crazy-fun! xD) Aaand...I have the entire list of Narcissistic ones there. I've convinced my dad to make me an appoinment with a professional. :3 It pro'lly isn't really neccessary, though, seeing as this only seems to negatively affect your...our... social relationships. In fact, I think I read somewhere that people with Histrionic Personality Disorder make great first impressions. xD |

I am mostly certain not an ugly b**** lol. Yeah I don't think it is, a professional opinion would just be helpful. There weren't be anymore what if's, ya know? Social relationships + HPD/Narcissistic PD= possible disasters. My current boyfriend would flip his s*** if he knew what I've done behind his back. I know that its considered wrong and to MOST people its cheating, but to me its neither. I don't feel bad at all. All in all, I'll be fine with having HPD and/or NarcissisticPD. I wouldn't seek 'treatment' or any of that. It would be a excuse for me being a b---- and a bit of a slut. :p Not a great excuse though. Tell me how your appointment goes, Dyzzi. |

EvilNice, I worded my sentence wrong, let me rephrase it: its your human right to be "histrionic" if its justified, just like its your right to be arrogant about your intelligence if your Albert Einstein. "Justified" meaning if you got a good body, a funny and deep personality then youd naturally be histrionic. If you arent gonna use your qualities and get a lil crazy then someone else will, who probably will be less attractive than you. And im personally tired of seeing some moronic c unt high on oxycontin with no hips, no ass and no personality acting like she's something and deserves respect. People should be put in their place for this very reason. Obey your humanly responsibility god damn it! |
