| For a while I have been researching Schizoid disorder because I thought and have discussed it with close people who feel I have similar symptoms. Well, the test said I have a very high risk for Schizoid disorder. I guess what I want to hear is how other people diagnosed or thinking they have schizoid disorder think about the worth of groups and other human beings, as well as humanity as a whole. | |

I think humanity is a f---ing joke, 80% of the population anyway. At least in America, nobody learns to grow the f--- up and fend for himself. Everybody is so goddamn emotionally shallow that they need to forcefeed themselves horse s--- for self-affirmation that they have any purpose in this world, which they dont. If everyone acted more modest and focussed on obtaining an actual hobby instead of desperately assuring themselves people are supposed to respect their pathetic existence then society would be better off, all cults and religions would be abolished, IQs would rise up and I would quit having to suspend people from work who assume they can get something for nothing. And what do I think of groups and gangs? Gangs are for pussies, who cant take care of themselves. Only idiots with no sapience, such as animals require a group to accomplish their s---. Real people can do their own bidding, and dont need hand-holding. |

Humans are generally social animals adabted to live in large communities... And I think the greatest strenght of humanity might be in the capability to mimic others and learn by observation... We can imagine our selves in other peoples positions, look at things from different perspectives... We can watch how others do things and then do the same... We can effectively pass our knowledge and skills to others... Large groups can think as one and so handle considerably greater amount of information than any individual ever could... If all of humanity would have been loners like schizoids then we wouldn't have accomplished much... Single human mind is just too small, and single life too short... We would be living in caves and hunting with simple tools like spears. But then again the one of the greatest weaknesses of humans is also in the capability to mimic others and in learning by observation. Often those "normal" people who need company tend to adabt too well... They may initially see that the ideas and actions of the majority are flawed, but still they adobt them and reject their own judgement out of fear of being rejected or worse, if they don't conform... If there would be no comfortable loners, if all of humanity would feel the need to fit in and be part of the community then we wouldn't have accomplished much... There would be no direction into the chaos. Majority would be always right as far as people are concerned... People would still think earth is flat, many might secretly have doubts because their common selse says otherwise, but they would not speak out, they would think its more likely its their common sense that is flawed than the commonly held indisputable absolute dogmatic truth... |
