I am so sorry to bother anyone who bothered to give advice to a stressed out tween, but I really do need this advice. For a while now (about a year or two) I have been... Seeing things that no one else can see. And other symptoms of Schizotypal and other related medical condidtions. I took the test here and got this: Paranoid: Very High Schizoid: High Schizotypal: High Antisocial: High Borderline: Very High Histrionic: Low Narcissistic: Moderate Avoidant: High Dependent: High Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate Now, I know that this isn't a real medical diagnosis, but all of the symptoms for everything marked from high to very high happen very often. It scares me. And, to top it all off, my parents think I'm lying and making it up to get attention. When I finally got the nerve to tell my friends, they gave me funny looks. They haven't spoken to me in 6 months. The advice I need is if I should convince my parents to take me to a doctor, get help, or really Anything at all, or if you think it's nothing, and that I'm just a stupid, easily-fooled little girl. If I should convince my parents, does anyone have any advide as to How??? I'm just so scared... Thank you so much for your time and patience. |

Sounds like you are in a tough situation. Have you considered talking with a school counselor? He/she may be able to advise you or even talk to your parents. That's what I would do as a first step. Good luck! |

| Maybe the things you're seeing really exist, and we're all blind to it. | |

| I agree with synapse personally, & that it's probably nothing big to worry about unless it's interfering with your life. if it's not, speaking from personal experience, you'll get used to it. if it is interfering however, yeah... try to get your parents to get you checked out. | |
