Are thoughts about acceptability of suicidal thoughts in fact suicidal thoughts ?

I mean if you in your present condition have no desire to end your life but you
find your self often thinking about different what if scenarios of your future and
about under which circumstances you might consider committing suicide...
Are such thoughts suicidal thoughts ?

I don't think that means your actually suicidal. I know for a fact that I am and my thoughts are much worse than that. I think it all depends on if you actually want to do it or are considering doing it or if it is just a curiousity or boredom thing. If it is a curiosity or boredom thing than no, those aren't suicidal thoughts.. at least not what people usually mean when they say "suicidal thoughts".
