Just wondering if there would be any fundamental glitches in that. I tried answering "Yes" to every question to see what would happen, and I got Very high on everything except schizoid which remained "High."

If it is possible to have all personality disorders combined, just what type of f---ed up dude would that be?

Pretty effed up? What a terrible and desolate life that would be. Even having one is bad enough.

Nope... Its not possible... Some of the "disorders" are differents extremes
on same scale and you can't be in two places at once... Like for example:
Histrionic and Schizoid seems to have opposite symptoms...

I think you could but idk for sure. I like to make people laugh, not sure why its just me. So i suppose you could call that being the centre of attention, in simple terms. But i hate social events, and don't want tonnes of friends like some might.

But FYI i'm not 100% on the definition of Histrionic, and i don't think i'm 100% Schizoid, but thats me for you :)

Overall i guess, is how you take the meaning of each symptom, its a grey area.

Yeah, thats what I thought.

ArX, it is possible. Im highly schizoid and moderately histrionic. I love the attention I get for my extreme outfit (considered extreme in this redneck town anyway, but the f---ing idiots confuse me with a Hells Angel which I hate).

I'm lurid in conversation and put people down dramatically, particularly those at my workplace. When I gotta announce for the second time for people to stop riding a pallet jack like a scooter (we already had a retard injure himself due to this stunt) I have my own melodramatic way of getting my point across unlike the other managers, who are either unassertive or assertive in a lame, no-style manner that prompts people to flip em off and find work elsewhere. When I speak, they listen and respect, and laugh even when it is them I am dissing the hell out of.

Everybody perceives me as a distant hardass, and I like it.

So there you have it, its possible. I love being the center of attention the WAY I WANT the kind of attention to be. But when people try to analyze me and attempt to discover my vulnerable side, that's the kind of attention I hate.

If I'd guess which combination was impossible, I would say schizoid and avoidant. Avoidants feel like losers but desire to have friends and be respected, schizoids by definition dont give a s--- and are totally cool with being loners. Those two straight contradict each other.

Or what about avoidant and histrionic? They are well aware whenever they attempt to say something they will say something retarded, but somehow they speak and dress dramatically for attention? Um no, just no.

How about avoidant and narcissistic? They feel inferior but feel superior? That dont fit.

I'm still curious if its possible to rig the test with a different combo of yes/no answers to get all "Very high" results, though. So far all I can get is:

Disorder | Rating
Paranoid: Very High
Schizoid: High
Schizotypal: Very High
Antisocial: High
Borderline: Very High
Histrionic: Very High
Narcissistic: Very High
Avoidant: Very High
Dependent: Very High
Obsessive-Compulsive: High

Looks like the admin tweaked the test, cuz last time I was able to get very high on everything except schizoid.

Aw, don't be scared. If you didn't think you needed help before this test, then don't let the test convince you otherwise. It's more to help you pinpoint what label you can put on any personality issue you have, but the test isn't necessarily accurate. On the other hand, the test can be great to use to explore things about yourself. I'd encourage you to read up on each of the disorders you scored high on, and judge for yourself what you think fits you. Then, if you want to talk about it, go to one or more of the related forums.

As for having multiple disorders at once, and can someone have seeming opposites, I think so to some degree. But maybe not both to extremes?

Anyway, I was thinking about avoidant plus narcissistic. I am manic depressive (I hate the word "bipolar") and that seems to fit. Sometimes I can be manic, and think I'm practically god I'm so great, while other times I am so depressed I hate myself and think I'm the lowest being there ever was. And other times I seem to be a bit of both, oddly enough. Though actually I am, in terms of my personality, far more avoidant than narcissistic. Hm.

Anyway, what about avoidant vs. antisocial? How can you care about what people think if you don't have a conscience?

Geez, if you're actually scared of your results... assuming they were all 'very high' and APD was one of them?? I'd call BS right away. Sorry.

And of course it is theoretically possible to get very high on everything! It's a stupid computer test, just do your research and you'll know what traits fit with what disorder!
